Terms of Service
Last updated:
Please read these Terms carefully. They explain your rights and responsibilities when you use CN Quotation Maker. Effective from 4 November 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [Company Legal Name] (“we”, “us”) about your use of the CN Quotation Maker mobile app, our servers and this website (together, “the Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
- If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for that business.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number or email. Give us details that are correct and yours.
- Keep your phone, SIM and email account safe. Anyone who can receive your sign-in code can open your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once at support@cnquotation.app if you think someone else is using your account.
4. The Service
CN Quotation Maker helps you prepare quotations, save them, sync them between your devices and share them as PDFs. The Service is currently free.
We may add, change or remove features. We may introduce paid features or optional advertising in the future. If we do, we will tell you clearly in advance, the price will be shown before you pay, and any paid feature will have its own terms.
We work to keep the Service available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Because the app saves data on your phone, you can usually keep working offline.
5. Your content and responsibility
“Your content” means everything you put into the app: business details, logo, items, rates, terms, customer details and quotations.
- You own your content. You give us permission to store, process, sync and display it only to provide the Service to you.
- You are responsible for your quotations. You check that prices, measurements, quantities, taxes (including GST), terms and totals are correct before you send them. The app’s catalogue, suggested items, suggested terms and calculations are aids only. A quotation is between you and your customer. We are not part of that agreement.
- Customer data: you confirm that you are allowed to enter and use your customers’ details for giving them a quotation, and you will handle those details lawfully.
- You must have the rights to any logo, name or text you add, and it must not break anyone else’s rights.
6. What you must not do
- Break any law, or use the Service for fraud, false or misleading quotations, or tax evasion.
- Pretend to be another person or business, or use a mobile number or email that is not yours.
- Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Send spam or unwanted messages to people using the Service.
- Try to hack, overload or reverse engineer the Service, get around its security or limits, or access other users’ data.
- Use bots or scripts to create accounts or request sign-in codes.
7. Our intellectual property
The app, its design, code, pictures, catalogue, name and logo belong to [Company Legal Name] or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own work while you follow these Terms. Quotations you make with the app are yours to use freely.
8. Third-party services
The app works with services we do not control, such as WhatsApp, your phone’s share and print options, the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for these Terms.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to save your quotations. If we ever shut down the Service, we will give you reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any promise that the Service will meet every need, be free of errors, or that calculations, suggested text or catalogue items are correct or suitable for your work. Always check a quotation before sending it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost jobs, or disputes with your customers about a quotation;
- our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while the Service is free), or ₹1,000, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your quotations, or your breach of these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly this way. If a dispute cannot be solved, the courts at [City], India, will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have under law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.
